Antigua figura de el dios Shiva nataraja en bronce. La danza de Shivá se plantea como un baile de destrucción. Según la leyenda, algunos enemigos deseaban destruir a Shivá. Enviaron un enano (considerado por los hinduistas como seres demoníacos o la encarnación del mal) llamado el diablo del olvido. Para combatirlo, Shivá inició su danza cósmica, subyugando al demonio y liberando al mundo. Shivá salta sobre el enano y le aplasta la espalda con un pie.
