BLACK DUCK HUNTING DECOY Anas rubripes

Old flock painting is 2nd coat body. Good conservation.

He made decoys for local hunters.

Most of the bird is original paint and repainted in areas on the body with adhering materials, tinted sawdust, etc., to give it relief. Structurally it is fine.

It is a hollow cedar decoy (the wood has been worked to lighten its weight) two pieces for the body and one for the head. Underneath it has a brass ring for the anchor cable.

It is a large duck (like the real bird) and is very characteristic of Barrett.

SIZE: 44 cm long x 15 cm wide x 18 cm hight.

Hizo señuelos para cazadores locales.

La mayor parte del ave es pintura original y repintado por zonas en el cuerpo con adherencia de materiales, serrín tintado, etc, para darle relieves. Estructuralmente está bien.

Es un señuelo de cedro hueco (se ha trabajado la madera para aligerarlo de peso) dos piezas para el cuerpo y otra para la cabeza. Debajo tiene anilla de latón para el cable de anclaje.

Es un pato grande (como el ave real) y es muy característico de Barret.
