Description
Extraordinaria pila benditera antigua. Con preciosa pintura de la Virgen y flores, y marco y pila con decoración de pintura de esmaltes de colores. El soporte es una gruesa placa de ónix, que tiene por detrás una base de metal donde se pueden ver los tornillos de sujeción y la arandela para colgar en la pared. Medidas máximas aproximadas: 28'8 cm. de altura x 15'9 cm. de ancho. Grosor aproximado de la placa de ónix: 1'1 cm. Abajo, a la izquierda de la pila, se puede ver una veta típica del ónix que podría parecer que ha estado partida por el borde de la placa, pero yo creo que es una marca del final de la veta en el proceso de corte de la piedra.
