 Descripción:

- Magnífica escultura en miniatura de Christophe Fratin, destacado animalista, tanto en esculturas pequeñas como de gran tamaño. Está firmada con el distintivo “FRATIN”, inscrita en el molde y situada en una esquina de la base. Tiene la curiosidad de tener la “N” inscrita al revés.

- Fratin organiza en 1849 la primera venta pública de 450 de sus esculturas, lo que demuestra que desarrolló una gran producción con anterioridad, por lo que existen muchas posibilidades de que esta pieza ya estuviese realizada.

- La escultura es maciza y está realizada de una sola pieza, probablemente con excepción de la base, que al parecer está soldada a las patas.

- La calidad artística es muy buena, con un resultado magnífico, destacando sus proporciones y el espectacular movimiento que transmite su contemplación.

- La escultura, que no presenta defectos de ejecución, está realizado con bastante detalle, cuidando su fundición, la terminación y los remates en todos los aspectos.

- Presenta restos de lo que podría ser un antiguo baño de plata, que se ha perdido casi en su totalidad. Esta circunstancia, junto con el propio desgaste de las partes más salientes, le proporciona una pátina excepcionalmente bella.

 Comentarios:

- Tanto las Medidas, como el Peso, son aproximados.

- Este tipo de escultura en miniatura son bastante raras de encontrar.

- Muy interesante como pieza de colección y elemento decorativo.

- Espectacular en una hornacina iluminada, con decoración minimalista.

- Debido a que es inevitable las diferencias de tonalidades entre fotos y realidad, se debe tener presente que los tonos de los colores de las fotos no son exactamente iguales a los tonos de los colores reales.

- La Pieza presenta el desgaste propio de su tiempo, así como algunas manchas. Tiene pequeños desperfectos.

 Description:

- Magnificent miniature sculpture by Christophe Fratin, outstanding animalist, both in small and large sculptures. It is signed with the "FRATIN" badge, inscribed in the mold and located in a corner of the base. He is curious to have the "N" inscribed in reverse.

- Fratin organizes in 1849 the first public sale of 450 of his sculptures, which shows that he developed a large production beforehand, so there are many possibilities that this piece was already made.

- The sculpture is solid and is made in one piece, probably with the exception of the base, which apparently is welded to the legs.

- The artistic quality is very good, with a magnificent result, highlighting its proportions and the spectacular movement that conveys its contemplation.

- The sculpture, which has no defects in execution, is made in quite a bit of detail, taking care of its casting, finishing and finishing in all aspects.

- It has remains of what could be an old silver bath, which has been almost completely lost. This circumstance, together with the wear of the most salient parts, gives it an exceptionally beautiful patina.

- This type of miniature sculpture are quite rare to find.

- Very interesting as a collection and decorative piece.

- Spectacular in an illuminated niche, with minimalist decoration.

- Due to the fact that it is inevitable the differences of tones between photos and reality, it should be kept in mind that the tones of the colors of the photos are not exactly the same as the tones of the actual colors.

- The piece presents the wear and tear of its time, as well as some stains. It has small flaws.
