Description

Importante cartel de impresión serigráfica en color, 66 x 50 cm, editado en Madrid en el año 1976 en plena transición democrática.

José García Ortega (Arroba de los Montes, Ciudad Real, 1921 - Paris 1990) ingresó en el Partido Comunista en 1941 siendo procesado por su actividad política y llegando a cumplir 5 años de prisión. En 1960 se exilió a París hasta la muerte de Franco en 1976 después de haberse consagrado internacionalmente como artista. No en vano su obra estuvo presente en todas las ediciones de ARCO entre 1980 y 1987.

Este cartel es el número 3 de los 10 de la serie Decálogo para la democracia española, presentado en la librería Tartessos de Ciudad Real.
