Enmarcado en marco de madera y cristal frontal protectivo. Grabado al cobre que representa la región de Dinamarca en el siglo XVIII. Signos de ataque inactivo de insectos xilofagos en el marco. Impreso en Núremberg, inscripciones descriptivas en latín. Mapa realizado por Johannes Baptist Homann (1664-1724). Johann Baptist Homann (1664-1724) fue un destacado cartógrafo y editor alemán. Inicialmente formado para la vida eclesiástica, se convirtió al protestantismo y fundó su propia editorial en 1702 en Núremberg. Fue nombrado Geógrafo Imperial por el emperador Carlos VI en 1715 y publicó su obra maestra, el Gran Atlas de todo el Mundo en 1716. Su empresa, Homann Herederos, continuó su legado hasta 1848. Printed in Nuremberg, descriptive inscriptions in Latin. Map made by Johannes Baptist Homann (1664-1724). Johann Baptist Homann (1664-1724) was an outstanding German cartographer and editor. Initially formed for ecclesiastical life, he became Protestantism and founded his own editorial in 1702 in Nuremberg. He was appointed Imperial Geographer by Emperor Carlos VI in 1715 and published his masterpiece, the great Atlas from around the world in 1716.
