"Por cuanto habiendo sido examinado de mi orden por los Académicos y Maestros de este Colegio a Don Jayme Bauly, a quien ha sido hallado suficientemente instruido en la teoría y práctica de la Navegación; por tanto y condescendiendo con la súplica que me ha hecho Don Joseph Timoner, Capitán y Maestre de la Polacra de esta matrícula nombrada la Iris, que hace viage desde este puerto al de la Veracruz; he venido en habilitar de Pilotín a dicho Don Jayme Bauly, para solo otro viage. Real Colegio de San Telmo de Málaga, veinte y seis de octubre de mil ochoccientos dos. (Sic).
