Description

Grupo escultórico de bailarinas en danza clásica.

Porcelana esmaltada, policromada y dorada. Destacando el trabajo de encaje tipo Dresden.

Manufactura alemana AEN Aelteste Volkstedt, Rudolstadt.

Marca al dorso: corona azul sobre “N”, y firma del autor; finales del siglo XIX y principios del XX.

La escultura muestra a dos bailarinas de ballet en plena coreografía, ataviadas con amplios tutús de encaje en porcelana, decorados con flores multicolor.

Ambas figuras bailan sobre un pedestal con molduras en forma de hojas estilizadas y flores aplicadas, sobre una base oval dorada con medallones en relieve.

Importante tamaño. Muy ligeras pérdidas en el encaje.

Tiene unas medidas totales de 34x24 cm y 17x14 cm en la base.
