Se trata de una cuchara de 1840 perteneciente a La Pacific Steam Navigation Company (PSNC) que fue la primera empresa naviera que utiliza la navegación a vapor en el Pacífico. Fue conocida también como Compañía Inglesa de Vapores.[1] Fue fundada por el norteamericano William Wheelwright.
