WS&S is a famous, well regarded manufactures of fine quality items in the decorative arts and produced items from 1885-1914. The original factory was founded in 1829 by Gerbing and Schiller in Podmokly, Czechoslovakia. (Bodenbach, Bohemia, Austria). In 1885 approximately, the company was split into two factories W Schiller & Son (WS&S) and Gerbing & Stephan. In 1914 the factory closed.
