La inscripción en la parte inferior ayuda a interpretar el grabado, y así reza: "8a lámina de la Mascara Real executada por los Gremios de la Ciudad de Barcelona al arribo de su Monarca Don Carlos III, con la Reina y su Real Familia. I. Jano con las cuatro partes del Mundo. 2. Artesanos y Artesanas, 3 Sacerdotes y Vestales, 4 Driadas y Faunos, 5 Silvanos y Nayadas, 6 Pescadores y Pescadoras siculos, 7 Alciones y Nereidas." Illustrated by Francesc Tramulles and recorded by A. J. Defehrt. Alegorical scene, extracted from the album "Màscara Reial", published in Barcelona in 1764. A copy of this same engraving can be seen in the MNAC recorded section. The registration at the bottom helps to interpret the engraving, and thus prays: "8a lamina of the royal mask executed by the guilds of the city of Barcelona upon arrival of its monarch Don Carlos III, with the queen and her royal family. I. Jano with the four parts of the world. 2nd artisans and artisans, 3 priests and vestals, 4 driadas and faunos, 5 silvans and nayaders Syculus fishermen, 7 alctions and Nereids.
