Published by Justus Danckertsz (1635-1701) Biography:

 

Engraver and publisher, brother of Dancker Danckerts, and father of Theodor and Cornelis II; active in Amsterdam 1662-1694, from 1684 was working with his sons.

Print made by Johannes Visscher (1633-1692). Biography:

 

Etcher, engraver and painter, born in Haarlem, 1658 moved to Amsterdam, where he may have died. Pupil of Cornelis Visscher. As painter pupil of Michiel Carrée. Brother of Cornelis and Lambert Visscher.

Biography

Painter and draughtsman. No prints made by him.
Born in Haarlem; went to Hamburg in 1638-39 to work for Evert Decker. In 1640 enlisted as painter in the Haarlem guild of St. Luke. In 1645 he was elected 'vinder' of the Haarlem guild of St. Luke; died there. Elder brother and master of the painters Jan and Pieter Wouwerman. Pupil of Frans Hals and Pieter Verbeeck. Master of the Swedish artists Coort Witholt, Nicolaas Ficke and Jacob Warnars and in 1656 master of Anthony de Haen in Haarlem.
