BIOGRAFIA DEL ARTISTA

Andrés Benjamín Gómez Monreal, de nombre artístico Andrés Monreal, pintor, Nació el 7 de marzo de 1937 en Santiago.

Con estudios de teatro y otras inquietudes artísticas, trabajó como dibujante en el Taller de estampados textiles de Pablo Burchard Aguayo.

Viajó a Europa en 1953, recorriendo España y Francia y luego a los Estados Unidos, dedicándose al trabajo actoral para teatro, cine y televisión, realizando decorados escenográficos y otros oficios que compartió con la pintura. Se radicó por más tiempo en Madrid y hacia la década de los ochenta en Ibiza en las Islas Baleares en España. Posteriormente se radicó en París Francia.
