Philip Stanton es un artista, diseñador e ilustrador estadounidense nacido en 1962 en Columbus, Ohio. Formado en Bellas Artes en Rollins College y con un máster en la School of Visual Arts de Nueva York, se trasladó a Barcelona en 1988, donde fundó Stanton Studio. Su obra abarca desde instalaciones urbanas de gran formato hasta libros infantiles, escenografías y campañas publicitarias. Ha participado en más de 60 exposiciones y ha colaborado con diversas publicaciones y empresas internacionales. Como autor e ilustrador, ha publicado más de 40 títulos, incluyendo la serie “La Gata Misha”. Desde 1995, es profesor de ilustración en la escuela EINA de Barcelona.

Philip Stanton is an American artist, designer and illustrator born in 1962 in Columbus, Ohio. Formed in Fine Arts at Rollins College and with a master's degree in the School of Visual Arts in New York, he moved to Barcelona in 1988, where he founded Stanton Studio. His work covers from large format urban facilities to children's books, scenographies and advertising campaigns. He has participated in more than 60 exhibitions and has collaborated with various international publications and companies. As author and illustrator, he has published more than 40 titles, including the series "La Gata Misha". Since 1995, he is a professor of illustration at the Eina School in Barcelona.
