Caricatura de quizás los caricaturistas cubanos más significativos. Circa 1926 se muestra Dr. Jose A. Barnet - Ministro Plenipotenciario y Enviado Extraordinario de Cuba en Pekin, China.

Esta es una caricatura publicada originalmente de una de las publicaciones cubanas para las que Massaguer creó su arte.

14 x 18 centímetros. Pegado a una cartulina semirrígida. Buen estado.


Conrado Walter Massaguer Díaz (Cárdenas, Matanzas, 3 de marzo de 1889 - La Habana, 18 de octubre de 1965) fue un dibujante, caricaturista y publicista cubano. Conocido como «El César de la caricatura», su influyente obra se caracterizó por la ilustración costumbrista y las caricaturas de personajes célebres de la época, tanto cubanos como extranjeros, y fue muy difundida en Estados Unidos y Europa.

This is an originally published caricature from one of the Cuban publications Massaguer created his art for. 

14 x 18 centimeters. Glued to a semirigid cardboard. Good condition.


Conrado Walter Massaguer Díaz (Cárdenas, Matanzas, March 3, 1889 - Havana, October 18, 1965) was a Cuban cartoonist, cartoonist and publicist. Known as "The Caesar of Caricature," his influential work was characterized by costumbrista illustration and caricatures of famous people of the time, both Cuban and foreign, and was widely disseminated in the United States and Europe.
