"Cristales y limón". Acuarela y tinta. 33 x 23. Medidas paspartú: 41 x 31.  SIN MARCO

Luis Cañadas. 1928-2013. Forma en Almería en 1.945 el Grupo Indaliano con Jesús de Perceval, Capuleto, Alcaraz y Cantón Checa. Dos años mas tarde son presentados en el Museo de Arte Moderno de Madrid por el filósofo Eugenio D'ors y forman parte en las exposiciones de la Academia Breve de Crítica de Arte.

Expone en numerosas ocasiones en España a lo largo de su vida. Obtiene el Premio Vázquez Díaz en 1948, Costa del Sol de Almería en 1961 y 63, IV Cetamen Nacional de Pintura de Almería y XIV Premio Jesús de Perceval en 2.000. Tiene vidrieras en la Basílica de Santo Domingo, Facultad de Medicina de Madrid, Palacio de Congresos de Madrid o la antigua Estación de Ferrocarril de Almería. Recientemente la historiadora María del Carmen Durán ha editado un libro dedicado al pintor.
