Davidov?s Elementary Geometry presents a complete course in plane and solid
geometry, moving from lines and angles through figures, triangles, parallels,
similarity, circles, regular polygons, areas, and the measurement of circular
figures, then into lines and planes, polyhedra, volumes, spheres, and conic
sections.
The book combines definitions, axioms, theorems, proofs, construction
problems, exercises, and solutions in a deliberate progression designed for
sustained study. It is suitable for readers building a proof-based
foundation, teachers seeking a structured mathematics text, and homeschool
students who want a complete curriculum.
This English reader edition preserves the sequence, figure references, and
translated figure descriptions while presenting the text in consistent
modern typesetting. Translated by Valery Manokhin, PhD.
