Sinopsis

El comisario jefe de la policía de Orleáns (François Périer) debe su privilegiada posición social a su rica e influyente esposa (Signoret), que lleva años postrada en una silla de ruedas. El comisario, con el conocimiento de su esposa, tiene una joven amante con antecedentes penales.
