Cristales de cornetita tapizan parcialmente una matriz que mide 7,6 cm. x 5,8 cm.(ver fotografías adicionales).Se aprecian dos grupos de cristales bien diferenciados en lo referente al hábito cristalino. Por un lado se distinguen en el anverso de la pieza grupos formando rosetas de dimensiones comprendidas entre 1mm. y 3 mm. de diámetro.El otro conjunto está localizados en sendos laterales de la matriz y se trata de pequeños cristales prismáticos de dimensiones comprendidas entre 0,5 mm. y 1mm. El ejemplar procedente de Mina L´etoile en Katanga, Congo.
