Description
La historia principal se centra en la relación de Maxx y Julie Winters. Maxx es un indigente que se cree un antihéroe, vive dentro de una caja de cartón en un callejón. Maxx se mueve entre el mundo real y el mundo de los sueños, al que se refiere como Pangea, (que es tan real para él como el mundo real). Así se encarga de asaltar a hombres que intentan abusar de mujeres y que de forma involuntaria viaja entre nuestro mundo y el imaginario. Por su parte Julie Winters es una trabajadora social que se ha encariñado con él y que vive en su propio caos emocional, se encarga de que Maxx no acabe demasiadas veces en el calabozo. Pero su relación va más allá de lo profesional ya que Maxx tiene que proteger a Juliet de su pasado. La historia es principalmente el desarrollo de esta trama y de cómo su subconsciente y el del resto de los personajes les hacen evolucionar y cambiar de vida.
