La notación LÍNEA SURCO aparecía en cubierta y se le asignó popularmente, pese a que también constaba la adscripción a la posible línea LÍNEA 83.
Ediciones Surco era en realidad la empresa Ediciones Vértice con nuevo nombre.
Surco, aunque empezara sus propias colecciones con un nuevo número uno, el material original del que partía lo retomó a partir del punto en el que lo dejó siendo Vértice.
