Un laureado equipo creativo que entre 1991 y 2005 compartió las tareas de guion y dibujo para relatar las vivencias cotidianas y los problemas existenciales del señor Jean. Combinación perfecta entre costumbrismo, comedia, ternura e ironía, la serie se alzó con el Premio Alph'Art del festival internacional de Angoulême de 1999, y ocho años más tarde sus autores recibieron el prestigioso Gran Premio de dicho certamen.
Una serie imprescindible integrada por siete volúmenes recopilados en este tomo, que también contiene el álbum independiente La teoría de los solteros y abundante material extra inédito (bocetos, ilustraciones, páginas a lápiz) proporcionado por los autores expresamente para esta edición.
