Gorro escocés (llamado Glengarry) de los Gordon Highlanders, Regimiento de Infantería de línea del ejército británico, época WW2.

El Regimiento (1881-1994) luchó en la guerra Anglo-egipcia, Sudán (contra el Mad Mahdi, 1885) y posterior batalla de Omdurman, en la frontera Noroeste (Daigi-Pakistán, donde ganó su primera cruz Victoria), la 2ª guerra boer, 1ª G. Mundial (El Somme, Ypres) y finalmente en la 2ª Guerra Mundial: primero en Francia con la BEF (Fuerza Expedicionaria Británica) y luego amalgamado en el norte de África (El Alamein - Túnez) y después Sicilia.

Insignia regimental con su leyenda "Bydand" (Resistido). Completo y en excelente estado.

The Regiment (1881-1994) fought in the Anglo-Egyptian war, Sudan (against the Mad Mahdi, 1885) and later Battle of Omdurman, on the North-West border (Daigi-Pakistan, winning their first Victoria Cross), the 2nd Boer War, WW1 (The Somme, Ypres) and finally in WW2: first in France with the BEF (British Expeditionary Force), later amalgamated in North Africa (El Alamein - Tunisia) and then Sicily.
