Este violín tiene dos etiquetas en el interior :

1) Una que dice" Jacobus Stainer in Absam, Prope Oenipontum 1683 ".

2) También hay otra etiqueta que dice: "Reparado por Roberto Coll Luthier del Conservatorio de Madrid 1952"

Creemos que el violín es una reproducción y no fue fabricado por Jacobus Stainer. Posiblemente fabricado a principios del siglo XX por una de las mejores casas de Luthiers según su calidad de construcción..

Se acompaña de arco de madera noble e incrustaciones de nácar y de su estuche de piel de reptil.

Signos notables del paso de los años, alguna reparación de época de mala calidad. Es necesario una revisión y reparación.
