El timbre de este instrumento es agudo y dependiente del material o corte y tipo de madera, así t ambién como de su acabado.

De origen es afro-cubano, en perfecto estado de conservación.

Medidas 18 cm de largo x 2. 5 cm de grosor. Con el nombre de Cuba/ Habana pirograbado en la madera.
