Preciosa moneda de plata de valor facial 5 dólares australianos, acuñada por la Royal Australian Mint y The Perth Mint para conmemorar los Juegos Olímpicos de Sydney del año 2000 (The Sydney 2000 Olympic coin collection - Silver series).

Forma parte de una serie de 16 monedas conmemorativas emitidas entre los años 1997 y 2000.

En el anverso figura la efigie de la Reina Isabel II (Elizabeth II), el valor facial de 5 dólares, y Australia 2000.

En el canto de la moneda se lee Games of the XXVII Olympiad.

Con elegante estuche de color verde oscuro con el logo de Sydney 2000 en dorado en la parte superior de la tapa, y certificado de autenticidad con número de serie
