Curioso y raro libro de la Editorial Labor, publicado en 1933. Escrito por Carmen Baroja de Caro y dedicado al encaje en España. 197 páginas más 31 láminas de fotos de encajes en blanco y negro. La obra se estructura en dos partes: una dedicada a los orígenes del encaje  (materiales, gremios, pasamanos, labores españolas...) y otra en la que se estudian los diferentes tipos de encajes: aguja, bolillos, dechados, puntos de España, soles salmantinos, chantilly, blondas... Medidas en la foto. Encuadernación en tapa dura.
