V. Kubasta artista de maravillosas creaciones de libros tridimensionales fue el autor entre otros muchos de esta maravillosa obra en papel que representa a las tres carabelas que viajaron a América, es un libro a nodo de carpeta, con un sólo desplegable en el que aparecen los tres barcos. La mecánica es muy simple se abre el libro y con la inercia aparece el desplegable y cuando se cierra la carpeta apenas tiene unos milímetros de espesor.

Este artista creo una fantasía nueva con sus diseños de plegados y el empleo de colores. Lo hacía todo los plegados, los dibujos y los textos.

Este ejemplar es de 1960,
