Petersburg, 1922. 171 pages. With a frontispiece and numerous illustrations in the text and on separate pages (36 illustrations by Y.P. Annenkov, 34 of which are portraits). Publisher's printed covers. Constructivist publishing, lithographed in three colors, with a dust jacket designed by the author. This edition was printed on thick laid paper in the 15th State Printing House in a quantity of 900 numbered copies, in August 1922 under the supervision of V.I. Anisimov. Annenkov, Yuri Pavlovich (1889-1974) was an outstanding Russian portrait artist, theater and film figure, writer, and a prominent representative of Russian-French modernism and avant-garde. He was one of the most talented artists of the left art movement, skillfully combining cubism, constructivism, and realism in his work.
