My Aim Is True es el álbum debut certificado por RIAA Platinum del cantautor inglés Elvis Costello .

El álbum se grabó en Pathway Studios en Highbury , London Borough of Islington , en el transcurso de 1976, seis sesiones de estudio de cuatro horas, en un total de aproximadamente veinticuatro horas. Fue el primero de los cinco álbumes consecutivos de Costello producidos por Nick Lowe y costó £ 2,000 para grabar

En 1977, la revista Rolling Stone nombró al álbum como uno de los mejores del año.
