Description:

In 1993 George Michael and his cousin Andros Giorgiou had an amazing idea - to create an album witten and produced by George, with other major artist (i.e Stevie Wonder, Seal, Janet jackson) to record the songs. it was going to be a collection of duets, featuring George singing with several artist including: Seal, Sade, Janet Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, Bryan Ferry, and Elton John.

This project was called 'the trojan souls', and in 1993 Warner Brother gace geroge and andors a million dollars to produce it. George spent countless hours in the studio writing and recording the tracks. The resulting work would have become an instant George Michael classic.

Unfortunately due to devastating personal events, George was unable to continue working and the project was shelved. While the instrumental tracks to each song had been completed, the vocals were left in various states. A couple were 100% complete, some had choruses and other were left in instrumental from.

One of the songs - named "W.F.T" was to be recorded as a duet by George and Sade. It remained an instrumental with no vocals.

"Ain't No stoppin' Us now" was intended as the leed single off the scrapped Trojan Souls project. This is from the L.A Times dated January 24 yh 1993.

We know the photos are not from 1993, but there were none, so just picked some of our favourites. Made by fans, for the fans.
