Interesante cuchara de mesa en plata esterlina británica, correspondiente al reinado de George III, contrastada en Londres en 1766 y atribuida al platero Benjamin Cartwright II.

La pieza fue convertida en época al elegante patrón Old English, una práctica habitual en la Inglaterra del siglo XVIII para actualizar estilos manteniendo la plata original. Conserva un atractivo monograma grabado “AM”, testimonio de su historia y uso original.

Originally produced in an earlier Georgian style and converted during the period to the refined Old English pattern, a common and accepted practice at the time. The spoon bears an engraved “AM” monogram, adding historical interest and provenance character.
