Descripción:

- Plato de porcelana de origen japonés, del clásico estilo Satsuma.

- Lo incluimos en la era Taisho (1912-1926).

- Se trata de un bonito plato de color dorado, con varias figuras características japonesas. Todo ello pintado a mano. Tiene un tamaño mediano.

- El plato tiene un grueso medio, con sonido al toque, realizado en porcelana blanca.

- Las figuras, pintadas con un gran detalle, representan cuatro hombres expresando agresividad, frente a dos mujeres expresando paciencia.

- Todas las figuras están entrelazadas por un dragón con escamas en relieve de esmalte blanco.

- En la base se deja ver el esmalte blanco, estando estampado el sello de la marca en su centro. Este sello incluye una serie de signos en dorado sobre un rojo oscuro, que probablemente identifiquen el sitio en que se fabricó, la época y el nombre el fabricante.

- Todas estas características que tiene el plato, proporcionan una pátina muy interesante, con un aspecto muy atractivo y de alta calidad.

Conservación y desperfectos:

- El plato se encuentra en buen estado.

- No tiene pelos ni partes desconchadas.

- Algunas zonas presentan desgaste en la pintura y en el dorado, sin mucha importancia. Se ha desprendido parte de la pintura de un ojo en dos de los hombres.

- Presenta el desgaste propio de su tiempo.

Description:

- Porcelain dish of Japanese origin, in the classic Satsuma style.

- We include it in the Taisho era (1912-1926).

- It is a beautiful golden coloured dish, with several characteristic Japanese figures. All hand-painted. It is of medium size.

- The dish is of medium thickness, with a sound to the touch, made of white porcelain.

- The figures, painted in great detail, depict four men expressing aggression, against two women expressing patience.

- All the figures are intertwined by a dragon with scales in white enamel relief.

- The white enamel is visible at the base, and the seal of the mark is stamped in its centre. This stamp includes a series of signs in gilding on a dark red, which probably identify the place where it was made, the period and the name of the maker.

- All of these features give the dish a very interesting patina, with a very attractive and high quality appearance.

Condition and damage:

- The plate is in good condition.

- There are no hairs or chipped parts.

- Some areas show wear to the paint and the gilding, but this is not very significant. Part of the paint has peeled off from one eye on two of the men.

- It shows wear and tear typical of it’s age.
