Luis García-Ochoa Ibáñez (San Sebastián, 18 de marzo de 1920 – Madrid, 20 de febrero de 2019) fue un pintor y artista gráfico español. Formado en la Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando y con estancias de estudio en Francia, Italia y Reino Unido, evolucionó del cubismo a un expresionismo de figuras complejas y se vinculó a la segunda Escuela de Vallecas y a la llamada Escuela de Madrid. Participó en varias Bienales de Venecia y realizó numerosas exposiciones colectivas e individuales a lo largo de su carrera. Además de la pintura, cultivó el grabado y la ilustración de libros, desarrollando una amplia obra gráfica. Fue elegido académico de la Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando en 1980, fundó en 1993 la Escuela de Pintores Figurativos de El Escorial y su obra forma parte de colecciones como el Museo Reina Sofía, el Museo de Bellas Artes de Bilbao y la Fundación Juan March.

Luis García-Ochoa Ibáñez (San Sebastián, March 18, 1920-Madrid, February 20, 2019) was a Spanish painter and graphic artist. Formed at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando and with Study Stays in France, Italy and the United Kingdom, it evolved from Cubism to an expressionism of complex figures and was linked to the Second School of Vallecas and the so -called School of Madrid. He participated in several Biennials of Venice and made numerous collective and individual exhibitions throughout his career. In addition to the painting, he cultivated engraving and illustration of books, developing a wide graphic work. He was elected academic of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando in 1980, founded in 1993 the School of Figurative Painters of El Escorial and his work is part of collections such as the Reina Sofía Museum, the Museum of Fine Arts of Bilbao and the Juan March Foundation.

Luis García-Ochoa Ibáñez (San Sebastián, 18 mars 1920-Madrid, 20 février 2019) était un peintre et graphiste espagnol. Formé à la Royal Academy of Fine Arts de San Fernando et avec des séjours à l'étude en France, en Italie et au Royaume-Uni, il est passé du cubisme à un expressionnisme de figures complexes et était lié à la deuxième école de Valcas et à l'école So-appelle de Madrid. Il a participé à plusieurs biennales de Venise et a fait de nombreuses expositions collectives et individuelles tout au long de sa carrière. En plus de la peinture, il a cultivé la gravure et l'illustration de livres, développant un large travail graphique.
