Descripción:

- Grabado de Brixen (Brixen im Thale), municipio del Brixental (Valle de Brixen) en el Tirol, uno de los nueve estados federados de Austria.

- En el grabado aparece el antiguo municipio de Brixen al fondo, y en primera línea una pareja de campesinos, descansando.

- Todos los títulos y firmas están fuera de la plancha.

- En el margen superior tiene la leyenda “Tirol - Tyrol”.

- En el margen inferior tiene la leyenda “Brixen”.

- En el ángulo superior derecho tiene impreso el número “1”, lo que hace suponer que el Grabado es el número 1 de una serie.

- En el ángulo inferior derecho, el Grabador firma como Cholet.

- En el ángulo inferior izquierdo, el dibujante firma como Danwin.

- En el margen inferior, en el centro, el director firma como Lemaitre (Augustin François Lemaître).

- Grabado Calcográfico al aguafuerte, aunque también podría haberse utilizado otra técnica distinta.

- Realizado en tono monocolor negro, muy bien de tinta

- Probablemente es un Grabado perteneciente a un libro.

 

Conservación y desperfectos:

- Estado General: Bueno.

- Esta muy bien de tinta, y tiene una buena estampación.

- Los márgenes laterales son amplios. El Grabado tiene un papel de espesor fino y regular calidad.

- En su parte superior tiene una banda de papel pegado.

- El Grabado tiene pequeños puntos de óxido.

- Si se le aplica un ligero lavado y blanqueado, el resultado sería muy bueno.

 

Comentarios:

- Las Medidas son aproximadas. Presenta el desgaste propio de su tiempo.

- Grabado ideal como pieza de colección y elemento decorativo.

- Que el Grabado tenga algún Distintivo, Marca o Contraste, es de gran importancia para poder identificar datos como su grabador, el dibujante, el sitio donde se imprimió y otros destalles.

- Debido a que es inevitable las diferencias de tonalidades entre fotos y realidad, se debe tener presente que los tonos de los colores de las fotos no son exactamente iguales a los tonos de los colores reales.

Description:

- Engraving of Brixen (Brixen im Thale), municipality of Brixental (Brixen Valley) in the Tyrol, one of the nine Austrian states.

- In the engraving, the old municipality of Brixen appears in the background, and in the front line a couple of peasants, resting.

- All titles and signatures are outside the plate.

- On the upper margin is the legend "Tyrol - Tyrol".

- On the lower margin is the legend "Brixen".

- In the upper right corner it is printed with the number "1", which suggests that the engraving is the number 1 of a series.

- In the lower right-hand corner, the Engraver signs as Cholet.

- In the lower left corner, the artist signs as Danwin.

- In the lower margin, in the centre, the director signs as Lemaitre (Augustin François Lemaître).

- Etching, although a different technique could have been used.

- Produced in a single-colour black tone, very good in ink

- It is probably an engraving belonging to a book.

 

Conservation and damage:

- General condition: Good.

- It is very well in ink, and has a good printing.

- The lateral margins are wide. The Engraving has a paper of fine thickness and regular quality.

- In its upper part it has a band of paper glued.

- The Engraving has small rust points.

- If it is slightly washed and bleached, the result would be very good.

 

Comments:

- The measurements are approximate. It shows the wear and tear of its time.

- Ideal as a collector's item and a decorative element.

- The fact that the engraving has a distinctive mark or contrast is very important in order to identify data such as the engraver, the artist, the place where it was printed and other details.

- Because it is inevitable that there will be differences in tones between photos and reality, you should bear in mind that the tones of the colours in the photos are not exactly the same as the tones of the real colours.
