Descripción:

- Grabado representando tres hombres, uno de ellos recogiendo lo que parece una red de pesca, otro mirándole, y el tercero tiene los brazos cruzados y mira al frente, de Salvator Rosa.

- Se trata de un grabado de la serie figurines, originalmente llamada ‘Diverse figure’ o ‘Capricci’. En ella se representan diversos tipos, soldados, figuras de hombre, de mujer y temas mitológicos. Fue un artista polifacético, activo en diversas materias.

- Su autor es el pintor, poeta y grabador italiano del S.XVII Salvator Rosa (1615-1673). Trabajó en Nápoles, de donde procedía. Se le conoce como rebelde y extravagante. Su serie más popular e influyente es la de los Figurines.

- Grabado calcográfico al aguafuerte sobre plancha de cobre, impreso en papel de buena calidad, realizado en tono monocolor negro, muy bien de tinta y muy buena estampación.

- En el lado inferior derecho tiene su firma, un monograma con las letras S y R, que corresponden a las iniciales de su nombre completo: Salvator Rosa.

- Mediante una calidad artística y de ejecución extraordinarias, así como una gran soltura, se ha conseguido un efecto de fuerza y gran viveza, dominando los claroscuros.

- Enmarcado a la perfección, con un marco a juego con el espectacular grabado.

Conservación y desperfectos:

- Estado General: Muy Bueno.

- El marco está nuevo, y se encuentra también en un estado perfecto.

- El Grabado presenta el deterioro propio de su tiempo.

- This is an engraving from the figurine series, originally called ‘Diverse figure’ or ‘Capricci’. It depicts various types, soldiers, male and female figures and mythological subjects. He was a multi-faceted artist, active in various fields.

- Its author is the 17th century Italian painter, poet and engraver Salvator Rosa (1615-1673). He worked in Naples, where he came from. He is known as rebellious and extravagant. His most popular and influential series is the Figurines.
