- Lámina a color la pintura ‘En la modista’ de Edgar Degas.

- Edgar Degas (1834-1917) fue un pintor, escultor y grabador francés. Considerado uno de los fundadores del impresionismo, aunque él mismo lo llamaba realismo. Fue uno de los grandes dibujantes de la historia por su magistral captación de las sensaciones de vida y movimiento, especialmente en sus obras de bailarinas, carreras de caballos y desnudos.

- Los temas más requeridos por Degas son a menudo de carácter intimista: escenas de baño, planchadoras en su trabajo o sombrereras descansando. Como en esta escena, que se muestra a una joven contemplando un sombrero que sujeta con sus dos manos.

- La lámina está pegada sólo por la parte superior a una cartulina, que tiene una bonita línea marrón claro que rodea la lámina.

- La lámina se levanta, pero no tiene nada escrito. En la zona inferior está la descripción de la lámina, y el sitio donde se encuentra el cuadro original, que en el instituto de Arte de Chicago.

- La impresión es buena. A color.

- Colour print of the painting ‘At the Dressmaker’ by Edgar Degas.

- Edgar Degas (1834-1917) was a French painter, sculptor and engraver. He is considered one of the founders of Impressionism, although he himself called it realism. He was one of the greatest draughtsmen in history for his masterful capture of the sensations of life and movement, especially in his works of dancers, horse races and nudes.

- Degas's most popular subjects are often of an intimate nature: bathing scenes, ironers at work or hatters resting. As in the present scene, which shows a young woman contemplating a hat that she is holding with both hands.

- The sheet is glued only at the top to a piece of cardboard, which has a nice light-brown line around the sheet.

- The sheet is lifted up, but there is no writing on it. In the lower area is the description of the plate, and the location of the original painting, which is at the Art Institute of Chicago.

- The print is good. Colour.
