The illustrator (and author of the text) is Rosina Moya Albéniz, granddaughter of the composer Isaac Albéniz and daughter of the illustrator Laura Albéniz. We have seen other copies of this book, but never with the glitter decoration.
Brightly printed alphabet (well, vowel) book showing black children playing truant from school and their white teacher, profusely and attractively decorated with glitter. Some paper shreds stuck to the glitter on the front cover (the glue appears not to have dried properly before they were piled up), but a nuar fine copy in its original celophane slipcase.
