A wood-engraved folding panorama (80 x 122cm.), published as a supplement to 'The Graphic' February 22, 1896, of the Fleet, together with commentaries and lists of the vessels in the margins, top, bottom and sides. "The following is a complete list of all the fighting ships and vessels of the British Navy, built, building or formally announced as about to be both, up to February 1, 1896. The figures are arranged according to their types; and where figures are prefixed they refer to the corresponding number in the engraving". Also included is an article " Our First Line of Defence" by W. Laird Clowes. 6" tear neatly repaired, a very clean copy.
