Antigua estatua de Buda Indo-Nepalí en Bronce. El Buda descansa sobre una base de loto, gran calidad de detalle especialmente en la túnica, con gran simbología y magnífica ejecucíon, especialmente la espalda, con una impresionante calidad en el detalle de todo el relieve, nos muestra una gran cantidad de simbología, en donde podemos apreciar, entre otros, un elefante, un mono, un lobo y un pájaro, una maestría del artidts en donde cada parte del la obra tiene un gran trabajo artesano.

Sentado en posición de doble loto, su mano derecha en posición de mudra Abhaya, el mudra de protección, con la mano derecha plana, es te mudra otorga bendiciones y protección frente al miedo, la pose está destinada a dar una sensación de tranquilidad y protección divina. Su mano izquierda muestra un segundo mudra, el mudra Dhyana, o de meditación, con el cuenco de limosna de un monje budista descansando en la palma. Su piernas en posición de doble loto, su base sellada y con la marca de consagración.

• Origen anterior: Tal y como nos ha relatado su anterior propietario, de Paises Bajos, este Buda de bronce lo recibió en herencia de su hermano, un aventurero Holandés que vivió en la India entre los años 1970 a 2000 y adquirió este Buda en 1972 en Goa (India). Desde ese momento siempre estuvo con él en un sitio preferente, los últimos años expuesto en su barco, ya que sentía que era especialmente poderoso y muy antiguo, probablemente proveniera originalmente de algún monasterio de la zona norte de la India o Nepal.
• Marca de sello con el símbolo de consagración de 5 flores en la base. Mantiene su consagración ya que el sellado de la base y los tesoros de su interior siguen intactos; y así deben seguir.

From that moment it was always with him in a preferential place, the last few years exposed on his boat, since he felt that it was especially powerful and very old, it probably originally came from some monastery in the northern part of India or Nepal.
