- El Libro, redactado en Español. El contenido está muy bien estructurado y es de altísimo interés.

- Escrito por M. Eugéne Poitou, consejero en la corte de Angers, con ilustraciones de V. Foulquier.

- Eugéne Poitou (1815-1880). fue un magistrado francés, cuya afición a las letras le llevó a ejercer como literario. También fue un viajero romántico, que conoció Egipto y España, publicando Un voyage en Egypte (1857) y Voyage en Espagne (1866).

- En el libro se muestran, monumentos, trajes regionales, bailes, etc de todas las curiosidades y maravillas que el autor se encontró durante sus viajes por España.

- Encuadernado cosido de muy buena ejecución, con cortes guillotinados y dorados.

- Texto en Impresión monocolor en negro, muy bien de tinta, con buena estampación, y en general bien centrado y con buenos márgenes.

- Repleto de grabados tanto fuera de texto, a toda página, como intercalados en el texto.

- El Texto y los grabados sobre papel blanco ahuesado mate, de espesor medio y muy buena calidad.

- Cubiertas duras de plena tela editorial roja, con estampación en dorado y negro, tanto en la cubierta delantera, la trasera y el lomo.

- Guardas de papel de color azul.

Detalle de la Conservación:

- El estado general del Libro es “BUENO”.

- El libro tiene pequeñas manchas de óxido que no afectan al texto ni a los grabados.

- Las páginas 89-90-91-92 tienen una pequeña rotura en la parte inferior, que no afecta al texto.

- Las cubiertas están algo fatigadas, pero en general se conservan en muy buen estado.

- Los cortes están bien conservados y con poca suciedad.

- Los tonos de los colores de las fotos no son iguales a los tonos de los colores reales.

- Eugéne Poitou (1815-1880) was a French magistrate, whose love of literature led him to become a literary scholar. He was also a romantic traveller, who visited Egypt and Spain, publishing Un voyage en Egypte (1857) and Voyage en Espagne (1866).

- The book shows, monuments, regional costumes, dances, etc of all the curiosities and wonders that the author encountered during his travels in Spain.
