Este diseño original fue realizado por el grabador de origen español, Joaquín Jiménez, actual grabador general de la Casa de las Moneda francesa y quien también ha realizado el diseño de las monedas de euros francesas. En el reverso, bonita imagen estilizada de la Torre Eiffel, realizada por el grabador Frédéric Joubert.
