Gustavo A. Bécquer y su hermano Valeriano,  supuestamente fueron los autores del libro titulado "Los Borbones en pelota", escrito y dibujado en 1868-1869. Se trata de un libro de 89 ilustraciones porno-satíricas firmado con el seudónimo "SEM", con textos de Gustavo Adolfo Bécquer y acuarelas de su hermano Valeriano Bécquer en las que se satiriza la corte de Isabel II, que tenía fama de amante de lo popular y de ser aficionada al sexo. El libro  se encuentra en el catálogo de la biblioteca del Instituto Cervantes de Nueva York.

Gustavo A. Bécquer and his brother Valeriano, supposedly were the authors of the book entitled "The Bourbons in ball", written and drawn in 1868-1869. It is a book of 89 porno-satirical illustrations signed under the pseudonym "SEM", with texts by Gustavo Adolfo Bécquer and watercolors by his brother Valeriano Bécquer in which the court of Isabel II, who had a reputation as a lover of popular and to be fond of sex. The book is in the library catalog of the Cervantes Institute in New York.
